Ulana is built on the principle that your knowledge graph is yours alone. We do not sell, share, or use your data to train AI models.
When you send Ulana a thread — text, image, voice note, or link — it is processed using a combination of AI services to extract meaning, find connections, and generate insights.
The content of your threads (text, transcribed voice, image descriptions) is sent to third-party AI providers for analysis. We send only what is needed to process each item — never your full knowledge history.
Your complete knowledge graph — every thread, connection, and insight — is stored in a secured database with strict per-user isolation. No other user can access your data. We do not sell, share, or license your data to anyone. No AI provider retains your data for model training.
Voice recordings are transcribed using an AI transcription service, then the original recording is discarded. Only the text transcription is stored.
You can request a full export of your knowledge at any time. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. If Ulana is discontinued, all users will be notified in advance and given the opportunity to export their data before deletion.
